Subscription Summary
Terms & Conditions — Cortech IoT Subscription Services
1. Service Agreement. By subscribing to Cortech IoT monitoring services, you enter into a binding service agreement governed by these terms and the applicable service level agreement (SLA) for your selected package.
2. Subscription & Billing. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Pricing is subject to annual review with 30 days written notice. All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
3. Service Availability. Cortech IoT targets 99.5% platform uptime. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated via your registered notification channels at least 24 hours in advance.
4. Data & POPIA Compliance. Cortech IoT processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) No. 4 of 2013. Data collected is used solely for service delivery, billing, and system notifications. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.
5. Notification Channels. Email and WhatsApp are mandatory channels. Additional channels (Telegram, SMS) are optional and may incur additional costs depending on your package tier.
6. Cancellation. Subscriptions may be cancelled with 30 calendar days written notice. No refunds are issued for partial months.
7. Limitation of Liability. Cortech IoT shall not be liable for losses arising from network outages, third-party infrastructure failures, or events beyond our reasonable control. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the value of one month's subscription fee.
8. Electronic Signature. By ticking the electronic signature box below, you acknowledge that your acceptance constitutes a valid electronic signature as defined under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECT Act) No. 25 of 2002.
9. Governing Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
